This bespoke piece from Bokara Fine Jewelry was originally conceived in 2010 and completed in July of 2012. It was commissioned for an international model and worn only once during Fashion Week in Paris in 2014. The center diamond pendant is in a teardrop form and contains slight over 18 carats of G-H/VVS round brilliant cut stones, set in 18k yellow gold. The largest single stone is a 2.01 carat GIA certified G/VVS2 stone. The necklace itself is fashioned of natural untreated marquise cut rubies, totaling just under 100 carats. Total carat weight of this piece is approximately 115 carats. The choker style necklace measures approximately 43 cm or 16.93 inches. It contains a high security double-lock closure. The necklace has recently been returned from Bokara where they hand-inspected each stone for security and cleaned the entire piece. The original price of this designer necklace was $485,000.00 The current owner acquired the piece in 2016 and it has remained in secure storage since then.
